Is Baby Carrier Mini hip-friendly for my baby?
The International Hip Dysplasia Institute acknowledges Baby Carrier Mini, just like all BabyBjörn baby carriers, as a hip-healthy product. This means that the baby carrier provides the proper support for your baby’s hips.

Easy to Use: Simple to put on and take off, makes it perfect for frequent, short babywearing sessions. This carrier has a convenient, clever design that lets you unfasten the front section to gently lift out your baby and place them in a cradle or crib if they should fall asleep.

Good support: The soft fabrics gently hug your baby’s back, legs and hips to provide support. You can check your newborn’s position and the natural curve of their back through the fabric with your hands. Baby Carrier Mini also offers sturdy and adjustable head support.

Adjustability: You can wear the carrier in one of two ways. Please remember for babies between 7-10lbs / 3.2 and 4.5kg that the leg straps should be used to reduce the size of the leg openings. For infants older than five months you may opt to use the facing-out position. An infant should be at least five months old and weigh max. 24 lbs (11 kg) to be placed in this position in the carrier. How to tell it is outgrown: Baby Carrier Mini is suitable until your child is one year old or until they reach a weight of 24 lbs (11 kg) and/or a height of 29.5 in (75 cm).

Is it safe for my baby to suck on the baby carrier?

Yes, Baby Bjorn has chosen to certify all materials under either Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, Class 1, or bluesign® Grade A – for products designed for babies and close-to-skin contact. This means that they’re kind to your baby’s skin and safe to taste. These certifications set exceptionally high bars to ensure that no harmful levels of chemicals find their way into products meant for your little ones.

Machine washable: This carrier is super easy to clean —just toss it in the wash on warm (40°C). While the baby carrier can handle frequent washing, let's do our part for the planet: use lower wash temperatures and don't over-wash. For minor stains, a quick brush-off usually does the trick. Plus, Baby Bjorn products are free from any harmful levels of substances, so there's no need to wash them before their first use.
